Now a teenager, Tsehai has been at Hanna Orphan’s Home for nearly two years where she lives in Mercy House 2 with five other girls. Each takes care of her own hygiene and clothing, helps keep the house clean and takes part in preparing meals. Tsehai has become a leader, giving encouragement and counseling to her housemates in both physical and spiritual matters.
All children at HOH learn about Jesus, and most soon become Christians. Tsehai is currently in confirmation class at church. She has begun keeping a journal in which she has copied the complete Gospel of John and is working on Romans. She loves the Lord and, when asked her hobby, responded “Prayer.”
Some of her favorites include studying English in school, the color pink, injera (the national bread) with wet lentils (soup). She also likes a soft drink called Mirinda.
Tsehai has a brother just ahead of her in sixth grade who also lives in one of the group homes. She is grateful to have a family member so close to her.
Please continue to pray that Tsehai will fulfill God’s plan for her life.
