Do you remember pastor Dinh? He’s one of the pastors whose home was destroyed. Click here to read the post about the funding for his home. He recently wrote a letter of thanks for Harmony Outreach and the supporter who helped his family in a time of great need. Here’s an English translation from our Country Director, Yacop,

“Letter of thanks!

Hello Pastor!

My name is Dính, I have a wife and two children. Thanks God for providing us when we was in need. In the last time, we faced a lot of difficulties about our dwelling. While I was in my mission trip, my simple house was crippled by a storm. In Vietnam, the winter is coming soon so I worried about my kids a lot. It would be no problem if there were only I and my wife, but because of our kids’ safety so we decided to build a new house. My family had only two buffaloes, we sold them to have money to pay for building materials. But on half-done of  process, we was out of the money. We prayed to God and confide in Him completely. Thanks God for using you to provide me timely.

Thank you for supporting me. I received it from Pastor Ya Cop. This winter will be a warm one for my family”.

My number one reason for liking where I work is that I get to see the family of God from all over the world show love and care for brothers and sisters they’ve never met. A close second reason would be the snacks in break room… Am I supposed to know about those?

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.” Matthew 6:31-32
