On July 8, 2009, when Martha was nearly three months old, she was abandoned in an orchard in Shanxi Province. When the police were called, they took little Martha to Yuncheng Orphanage where she remained until she came to Harmony House on June 26, 2010.
She is now an adorable one-year-old who loves to smile, especially when she is held and played with. She will be examined soon to determine the best treatment for her club feet.
Martha was named for our good friend Martha Smith from Burlington, Washington.
We have learned Martha may have been matched with her Forever Family!
