Little Phillip was abandoned behind a Yanhu government building when he was about eight months old. That must have been a tough decision for his family after he had lived with them for so many months! When found he was taken to Yuncheng Orphanage in the Shanxi Province where he lived until he came to Harmony House on June 26, 2010.
Phillip had successful heart surgery August 9, 2010. He was suffering from a congenital defect of the heart sometimes known as blue baby syndrome. It actually has three or four symptoms that are commonly experienced together. We are joyful to report that Phillip's surgery was successful. As you can see from his pictures, he is quite a healthy toddler now and loves being outdoors.
Phillip is ready to find his Forever Family.
He is named for our friend Phillip Thomas of Port Orchard, WA.
