Lily Huang
LILY HUANG is the Director of Harmony Outreach China and manager of Harmony House orphan home. She has been working with us since 2002 and helped establish Harmony Outreach in China. Lily once used the Chinese word for “octopus” to describe her work with Harmony Outreach because we have her hands in so many areas—managing Harmony House, newsletters, child sponsorship, coordinating surgeries, hosting visitors, and handling our in-China accounting.
Lily has a sweet spirit and a servant’s heart and is, without question, the backbone of our work in China. And for the growing number of families who have adopted from us, Lily is clearly our most dearly loved team member. If you were to look at the hundreds of lives who have been saved, touched or transformed as a result of Harmony’s work in China, you will find Lily’s fingerprints on nearly every one.
Lily is married to our dear friend and brother Mark Wei. Their daughter Joy was born in 2003, and they adopted Eva from Harmony Outreach in 2007.
