Harlan Huckaba
Harlan's entrepreneurial background uniquely qualifies him for the role of Projects Coordinator for Harmony Outreach--which encompasses just about any area you can mention. He paints offices, builds bookcases, packs and ships boxes of ministry materials, provides his expert photographic skills, handles the logistics for meetings and takes out the trash!
His greatest contribution to Harmony Outreach, however, is intercessory prayer. An ordained minister and Chaplain for the ministry, he not only prays for the ministry in general but for every child in our care. He prays for each request that comes from our partners and often is the one responding with a card or phone call to those requests. Harlan has participated in mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala and China.
In addition to prayer, Harlan loves working in Christian music and drama. His skills at set-building and props exhibit that love--all for the purpose of seeing souls come to the Lord. He is there to assist with children's musicals, adult dramas and Vacation Bible Schools. Having been a building contractor for years, he also owned his own production company that produced and sometimes designed numerous large projects in locations such as Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore and scores of other sites.
