Our beautiful little twins—the first-ever twins at Harmony House—were found abandoned at the gate of a hospital on July 29, 2009, when they were only ten days old. Their combined birth weight was under five pounds, and they went immediately to incubators at the hospital as soon as they were in our care. They remained there until their weight increased and they were stabilized.
But you should see them now! They are thriving at Harmony House and their sweet little personalities have really blossomed. They are now receiving plenty of food and attention, and neither seem to have any residual effects of their premature births. They are quick to smile and love attention. They will kick and wave their arms happily when you talk with them.
The twins are named for our dear friends and partners in ministry, Nanci McAlister of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Candice Wagenleitner of Clovis, California.
