Linda came to us on March 27, 2009, from the Xiaoxian Orphanage in Anhui Province. She has an adorable personality. She is a healthy eater, is quick to smile and likes a quiet environment. She is a cuddly and sweet child who likes to play with the other children.
After her serious spina bifida and heart surgeries in 2009, Linda suffered from serious seizures and was hospitalized. She was even in a coma for several days. However, she has improved dramatically and is now thriving.
In late August of 2011 Linda had surgery to correct a heart defect, found in a routine examination required for her adoption certification. She has recovered well and is now looking for her Forever Family.
At three years old, she is tall and strong. She loves quiet games but also does well in an environment with noisier children. She seems content playing alone and can always find something to amuse herself. She is unselfish with toys and gets concerned when another child falls or needs a nanny's attention. Although she doesn't try to intervene, once she feels the situation has been handled, she will go back to her former activity.
She is named for our US Director of Operations Linda Huckaba.
