  Chinese Name: Ye Jiao

Date of Birth: Oct 12, 2008 (speculative)

Gender: Female

Special needs: Deaf  - Asthma

Lori was found in a cardboard box at the gate of Kaifeng Deaf School after Kaifeng’s newspaper ran a story about how KDS headmistress Zhanghong had come to the rescue of a homeless 13-year-old boy.

She was found with a note which said “Teacher Zhang, we leave this child at your school with a sense relief.” Not long afterward they brought her to us.

Other than being deaf, she is healthy and developing normally. She has received hearing aids and is playing and interacting well with the other children. Although a little shy with strangers, she is a sweet-spirited little girl.

She is named for Harmony team member Lori Trask.

We have learned Lori may have been matched with her Forever Family!
