When children arrive at our door, sometimes their problems are visible—such as cleft lips/palates or deformed limbs. Other times we can't see the issues of heart problems, deafness or a life-threatening disease.
No one asks whether we have the money to pay the hospitals or to feed, clothe and nurture these children. Nevertheless, we can’t turn them away. And we have witnessed over and over again God's goodness in providing for a need at just the right moment, sometimes even before we ask.
We have learned the generosity of our partners and friends when we do present needs. We’ve learned that you—touched by the Lord—step up and do your part to transform the lives of those who cannot help themselves, and we know that eternal rewards await you for your generous hearts.
In the slide show above, we present a few of the children we have helped in before-and-after surgery photos. We are so grateful for your help in rescuing these lives and helping repair their little bodies so that they can look forward to normal lives.
